Canada Post Strike Update September 2025 – Shipping Notice | TUTT Canada Electronics Store
Shipping Notice: Canada Post Strike Impact and TUTT Canada’s Response Plan
On September 25, 2025, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) announced a national strike that has resulted in the immediate disruption of all mail and parcel delivery services through Canada Post. As a Canadian electronics retailer, TUTT™ Canada is committed to maintaining service continuity for all our customers across the country. In this announcement, we aim to clearly explain what this means for your recent and upcoming orders, the contingency measures we’ve implemented, and how you can stay informed during this period of postal disruption.
What Is Happening with Canada Post?
Canada Post has officially confirmed that its operations are being affected by a nationwide labour strike led by CUPW. As a result, regular mail and parcel services are suspended across all regions. Many post offices are temporarily closed, and the company has paused all service guarantees for items already within their network. Deliveries will resume only once the strike has ended, and even then, Canada Post has stated that delays should still be expected during the service recovery period.

How TUTT Canada Is Responding
At TUTT™, we anticipated the possibility of disruption and have activated contingency measures in partnership with our national logistics partner, Stallion Express. Our top priority is to ensure that all customer orders continue to be processed and delivered using alternative carriers whenever possible.
Orders Shipped Within the Last 48 Hours
If you placed an order in the past 48 hours that was shipped using a Canada Post label, please rest assured that we are reviewing its status. If the shipment has not yet been handed over to Canada Post and is still within Stallion Express's control, we will automatically re-label and re-ship your order using another trusted carrier such as UPS, Intelcom, ICS, or Whiz Delivery. No action is required on your part. You will be contacted via email once the new tracking information is available.
Orders Already in the Canada Post Network
If your package was already handed off to Canada Post and has been scanned into their network, unfortunately, we have no control over its immediate movement. These shipments may experience delays that extend beyond the strike period. While we are actively monitoring tracking statuses, please note that Canada Post has suspended all guarantees during this labour action.
Alternative Shipping Options Now Active
To ensure continuity of service, TUTT Canada has switched all future shipments to alternate carriers with proven national coverage. These include UPS, Intelcom, ICS, Whiz Delivery, and FleetOptics. Over 90% of Canadian postal codes are now supported through our adjusted logistics network. This means that most customers will continue to receive their orders without any delay.
However, it's important to note that no carrier other than Canada Post can deliver to PO Boxes. If your shipping address includes a PO Box, we kindly ask that you reach out to our support team to provide a physical delivery address so we can avoid further disruption.
Our Commitment to You
At TUTT™, we remain committed to providing you with reliable service and clear communication. This unexpected disruption does not change our dedication to customer satisfaction. We will continue to issue updates as the situation evolves and notify you directly if your order is affected. Our team is closely monitoring all deliveries and will intervene proactively wherever possible.
If you have any questions or need help updating your shipping details, our support team is here to assist.
