TUTT™ Canada | Limited Manufacturer Defect Warranty – 365 Days

Warranty Notice for Marketplace Purchases

All products sold under the TUTT™ brand through TUTT Store, Best Buy Canada Marketplace, Walmart Marketplace, and Amazon Marketplace are subject to this Limited Manufacturer Defect Warranty. This warranty is administered by TUTT™ Electronics Store (Takcan Inc.) and aligned with applicable marketplace policies. Where required, TUTT™ may request validation through the original marketplace before processing any claim.

Submitting a warranty request confirms acceptance of the terms below.


Warranty Term

Coverage Period: 365 days from the original date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required.


1. Scope of Warranty Coverage

This limited warranty applies exclusively to Verified Manufacturer Defects. A Manufacturer Defect is defined as a failure in materials or workmanship that existed at the time of manufacturing and occurs under normal, intended use conditions. If verified, coverage may include parts and labor only, at the manufacturer’s discretion.

2. What Is Covered

  • Verified material defects
  • Verified workmanship defects

Resolution type (repair, replacement, or equivalent product) is determined solely by the manufacturer.

3. What Is Not Covered

  • Physical damage, accidental damage, drops, impacts, crushing, bending
  • Liquid or moisture damage
  • Power surge or electrical damage
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper operation
  • Improper installation, improper storage, or unauthorized accessories
  • Cosmetic issues (scratches, dents, discoloration) and normal wear and tear
  • Software/firmware issues or device compatibility limitations
  • Third-party repairs, attempted repairs, or unauthorized modifications
  • Missing/altered serial numbers, labels, or tampered identifiers
  • Commercial/rental/institutional use
  • Second-hand purchases or purchases from unauthorized sellers

Any excluded condition may void eligibility.


4. Warranty Claim Eligibility Conditions

All claims must satisfy all of the following:

  • Product is within the 365-day warranty period
  • Valid proof of purchase is provided
  • Serial number (if applicable) is present and intact
  • The issue is clearly described and reasonably verifiable
  • The issue qualifies as a Manufacturer Defect

Failure to meet any condition may result in claim denial.


5. Claim Submission Requirements

Your warranty request must include:

  • The product being submitted
  • A clear, detailed written description of the issue
  • Photos/videos showing the issue (strongly recommended)
  • Order number
  • Platform of purchase (TUTT Store, Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, etc.)
  • Purchaser full name as shown on the order

Incomplete submissions may not be processed.


6. Inspection & Decision Authority

  • Approved submissions may be forwarded to the manufacturer exactly as received.
  • TUTT does not open, modify, repair, or alter warranty packages submitted by customers.
  • Manufacturer-certified technicians inspect the product and determine the outcome.
  • The manufacturer’s determination is final and binding.

7. Processing Timeline

The warranty process may take up to 90 days from receipt, including inspection and return shipping. Delays caused by carriers, customs, or manufacturer backlog are outside TUTT’s control.


8. Shipping Responsibilities

  • Customer is responsible for shipping the product to the designated return address unless otherwise instructed in writing.
  • If a Manufacturer Defect is confirmed, repair/replacement costs are covered by the manufacturer under their determination.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.

9. Resolution Type

At the manufacturer’s sole discretion, the outcome may be:

  • Repair
  • Replacement with the same or equivalent model (new or refurbished)
  • Claim denial

No cash refunds are issued under this warranty.


10. Limitation of Liability

TUTT’s role is limited to facilitating manufacturer evaluation. TUTT is not responsible for data loss, business interruption, loss of profits, or indirect/incidental/consequential damages. Maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase price.


11. Fraud Prevention

False statements, altered documents, manipulated media, or misrepresentation may result in immediate claim denial and reporting to relevant marketplace platforms.
