U.S. Shipping Update: Normal Operations Resumed (For Now)

At TUTT, Canada’s Electronics Store, we are committed to keeping our customers informed about the latest developments in U.S. trade policies and their impact on cross-border shipments.

As of February 10, 2025, we are pleased to report that U.S. shipping has returned to normal—for now. We are currently able to ship all packages, including those containing goods made in China, and the backlog from last week has been fully cleared.

If you do not see tracking updates yet, please check again by tomorrow evening, as some weekend deliveries are still being processed by carriers. This also applies to Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) shipments.

Uncertainties and What We’re Monitoring

While this is a positive development, two key areas of uncertainty remain:

1️⃣ How long Chinese-made goods will continue to be allowed under Section 321 tax- and duty-free.

2️⃣ Whether Section 321 will be revoked after the 30-day pause announced last Monday.

We are actively tracking updates on both issues and will notify you as soon as we receive more information.

New Shipping Options Coming Soon

To ensure uninterrupted shipping in case of further changes, we are introducing backup solutions:

Mid-next week: A Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) option, where shipments can still be sent, but the recipient will be responsible for paying duties and taxes upon arrival.

The following week: A Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) option, allowing you to cover duties and taxes upfront for a smoother delivery experience.

We are also actively exploring additional solutions to mitigate any potential disruptions. The temporary resumption of Section 321 provides us with time to prepare, and we appreciate your patience as we navigate these changes together.

If you have any questions about how these updates affect your orders, our TUTT support team is here to assist you.

Thank you for being part of the TUTT community. We’ll continue to keep you updated.
